Autoloading Mods

Post by FrustratedRocka »

I finally got around to picking up Doom on steam and bringing it up to date, and I was wondering if it was possible to set Brutal Doom to auto-load. I managed to get a soundtrack replacement to work by creating a skins folder and putting it there, but Brutal Doom doesn't want to load when I do that. I also managed to get a sound effect pack working by going into the .ini file and putting in a path to it, but that doesn't work for Brutal Doom either. Any ideas?

Load them through the Autoload section in the zdoom-user.ini file,
or create a batch file to load any add-on,
or collect all add-ons in one folder, highlight them all and drag onto GZDoom icon.

Be aware of the possibilty that not all add-ons are compatible with each other.
