this used to be a thread asking how i would add sound, but i poked around another wad and found out how.
so, this is now a thread for my demo wad for a "scary" megawad im making, TEH DOOM FILEZ, SECONDARY DIG. not really a serious name.

anyways.

lnky! click on the download quality to download

any suggestions/comments? dont say "make it longer", im doing that.

EDIT: oh yeah, i did use the scripts for flares from that guy... umm, i forget who it was. but i take it we were aloud to use those? if not then say so.

MORE EDIT: typically, right after i posted this i went back and made something better, the whole facility now has an uber-scary sound effect i made by accident (breathe into the mic, echo it a few times then slow it down. ultra-scary noise)

Why is it, that when I click the free link on Rapidshare, it just takes me to the main rapidshare page?

You need to have Javascript enabled, and scroll to the bottom of the page after clicking on Free.

Well, I played it and found the guy by the truck...then went to the yellow door and into the bathroom (I assume it was) and I heard someone talking and then I didn't know what to do...

kinda should have said that it ended there. the guy by the truck is supposed to reappear if he gets lost, at a "checkpoint", but for some reason he doesnt. its meant to do that so you can keep track of friends.

the underground bit is extremely creepy with the sound effect i made AFTER i released the demo/thingy here. ill re-demo it after ive totally finished exit wound. i shoud have put a script at the end saying "end of demo."

oh, did you see:

the "hidden" altar?
the buggy transfer screen for exit wound?

oh, and im fixing the stuck lost soul and marine bumbuddy, that i did by accident. the lost soul will be thrust from its spawn point at you.

oh yeah, and standing by the heal-o-matic heals you, if you didnt assume that already.

and ill probably try making the voice clearer.

the bathroom will also be more detailed, i did that in a hurry.
