GZDoom <unknown version> - - SDL version

Hi there, i just wanna know, when i compile manually the source code of "gzdoom v1.9.1". when i run the executable
i see says "GZDoom <unknown version> - - SDL version" instead "GZDoom v1.9.1 - ($Date) - SDL version"

i need specify some arguments/parameters for that before the compilation ???

You need to have git installed and build from cloned repository. In other words you are building using downloaded source code or git isn't available.

after i use the git version , like explain the Wiki -> http://zdoom.org/wiki/Compile_GZDoom_on_Linux
and is solve it
