Prefered modelling programs

Post by Epoch »

Could someone help me?
I need some free rendering software that is capable of modifying/adding vertices to a model. Blender is not able to suit my needs, and other programs I have found just plain suck.

EDIT:
Actually, could someone just show me where to download GMax?

Well crap. I know Gmax is included with some games though...Morrowind and Dungeon Siege in particular.

As far as I can tell, you can still download GMax from Turbosquid. I checked the forums there and they still offer it. One of the members was even going to try and get Discreet to reverse their decision.
