Depends, I can run Windows XP on a Pentium 90Mhz processor as long as it has 256MB of RAM.

We need you're full system specs to be able to tell you.

It won't be fast but it should work. But larger levels might cause frame rate drops.

What I don't understand is why you waste all that energy for nothing. What's so bad about keeping the VSync on? It would put much less stress on your graphics card and since the game can't run and display any faster anyway there's normally nothing to lose - especially if you are sensitive to screen tearing as I am.

What is Vsync anyway? I've never really understood it, all it seems to do is lag my pc to oblivion.

It makes the application until the entire screen has been refreshed. In other words it synchronizes your drawing operation with the monitor display.

Why would you ever want VSync on? Monitors are sooo s-l-o-w.

You don't get your frames faster with VSync off because the monitor is not able to handle them. It's all a big illusion, nothing more.

Yeah, with my faster computer system at my recording studio, I always turn on v-sync.

I can't stand the screen tearing too.
