V 0.9.24 and Radeon

Post by Syfo-Dyas »

I got a Radeon 9000 pro, and I got the latest GZDOOM, but now there seems to be even more flickering in GL mode, also the menu screen has been screwed up since the first release.

I've re-installed winblows 3 times since GZDOOM was released and that's always been an issue.

Thought I'd share, not bitching. :)

Make you sure you've set Mipmap detail in the CCC or ATI's Control Panel to Quality. Failing to do so will have really ugly consequence.

I'm not sure what you refer to as flickering, but if you are referring to random white dots on the screen at certain times (while moving or not), you need to use change the rendering quality to Quality in GZDoom.
