Lightning lightning... I could see if there's any in one of the UT2k4 mutators I have.

Great minds think alike, I suppose...I too have added the Colt 1911 to my mod, but more details are in my own journal.

Nice, but is the laser-sight thing supposed to be on both sides of the weapon? If not, apparently it moves when you put the weapon sideways.

"also known as gangsta style"

Also known as complete-cock, spraying-bullets-around-the-room-hitting-every-mutha-fukka-except-the-guy-you-are-aiming-at style. At least that's the realistic outcome of holding the weapon like that. Why do you suppose that the various trained professionals who use weapons as part of their job aren't trained to hold a pistol like some crack-head street punk? :P

In a realistic sense, some use this method to create a horizontal jump from the recoil, allowing them to spray a room sideways with well-timed presses of the trigger and minimal effort to move the arm. EVA from Metal Gear Solid 3 uses this tactic with an imitation Mauser 9mm handgun, though the principle is the same for recoil-operated handguns, I would imagine.

Yeah, I could be wrong, but it looks like it is supposed to be a small cylindrical shaped attachment on the side of the weapon with a red dot in the centre of the back of it. When the weapon it tilted "gangsta-style" the cylinder is on the other side too. Perhaps it's a larger structure that hangs below the gun and wraps round both sides or twoe cylinders, with a red dot on either side, but that's not how it looks to me. :dunno:

Gangsta style = "akimbo"

I think Enjay meant that the laser sight is too far to the left and it appears to be on the side of the gun in it's idle frame, rather than below the barrel.
Dudu, try moving it more below the barrel. To the right and below the gun. Otherwise it's like having 2 laser sights on 2 sides of a gun... unless that's you intention, which is by no means, anything bad :)

I thought akimbo meant dual wielding? Oh well, BTW Dudukrazy, check out my edits thread for slide animation I did on the Duke 64 pistol.

You are learning quick. I imagine you will reach the first level of Gun Cleric very soon now!

Anyway unless there are two laser pointers on the gun, it looks like it switched sides when you flipped the weapon sprite. Flip the one without the laser sight instead.
