Just a Strife Mod

i'm proud to announce a new mod: Just a Strife Mod. it will be a simple mod: no bullet casings, no smoke effects, no alternate fire, etc. the main objective here is to get rid in part of the cartoonish look of the game.

weapons currently added:

- Pistol (From Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. Sound: DoomWBO's Pistol)*

- Shotgun (Jetflock's Doom forever Shotgun [Idle Frame] Rest of the frames: Enjay's Doom Shotgun Edit)*

- Machine Gun (Auto Shotgun also from Turok: Dinosaur Hunter)*

Other things added:

- A New sky.

Wow, we've got a surge of mods for Strife...y'know, I ought to make a proper weapon mod for Heretic.

i just don't understand why almost there isn't any good mods for games other than Doom. for example: i know of only one weapon mod for Hexen.

well, what i need is some sounds for these weapons:

- Colt 1911

- Dule's Primary Fire (i'm actually using the ww-sam's rocket launcher fire)

- G36

Contains four sounds - the mortar_fire is intended for the dule, but the other three are pretty much interchangeable between the pistol and the rifle.

Updates:

- Increased Machine Gun's strength to 13

- Added new musics for the levels. i've never really liked Strife's musics.

- Normal barrels now drop ammo for shotgun and machine gun. in a random way.

- Pistol now replaces the Anvil. (just like in Heaven and Earth)

- Sentinels Now drop Shotguns

- Stalker now drops shotgun ammo

- Reaver now drops machine gun ammo

- Crusaders now drop Machine Guns

- Pistol now uses the same ammo as the Assault Gun

Weapons to be added:

- Unmaker (will replace the Sigil)*

- Plasma gun from Doom 3. (i guess no one ripped that gun. all i've seen was just edits.)

* Unlike the Sigil, you'll no longer get the weapon's parts as you kill the bosses. instead, when you kill the programmer, you get the unmaker. and when you kill the rest of the bosses, the unmaker steal their souls.
i'm not planning to change the weapon's behaviour because it's a very complex weapon IMO. that's what i think. maybe i'm right, maybe i'm wrong.
