These crappy MD2s

Post by justin023 »

I always have lots of problems when trying to make md2 models. It seems like most md2s I have attempted end up with the entire skin reduced to one pixel. Also, there is usually at least one distorted polygon if I luck out and get the skin working. Is there anything I can do about these problems? Also, does anybody know of a free md3 skinning tool? I can create md3 models but I can't figure out how to skin them. It's like i'm completely stuck when it comes to modelling :(

i've posted about Gmax, you have to register for free to get a key, and then download some md3 importers and exporters, best are by chris cookson
