Ok, this works with GZDoom and DOOM2.WAD. Load it up, say new game. GZDoom will go to MAP01. Then, bring up the console, type endgame. It will drop to console. Hit escape, then say new game, select your skill level, and VFE. I hate to keep posting these, cause i dont know if they are related or not to the other ones I've posted.
EDIT: Just tried with hexen, same deal.
