Converting ZDoom maps to the GZDoom format

Advanced OpenGL source port fork from ZDoom, picking up where ZDoomGL left off.

Converting ZDoom maps to the GZDoom format

Post by Dave_B »

I'm working on a Deathmatch/Botmatch megawad for GZDoom, which I've created using Doom Builder. I Created these levels using the ZDoom configuration, and when I saved them using Deepsea in GZDoom format it screwed them up big time. Only recently have I discovered Doom Builder can be configured for GZDoom editing. How would I be able to safely convert them to the GZDoom format safely without any hassles? Thanks.

There is no conversion needed. The map format is exactly the same. There's only a handful of new line specials for 3D floors and reflective floors/ceilings, that's it.
