Move complete

Post by Rachael »

If you are seeing this message, then the move was successful, and DRD Team is being served from its new host.

It will take a while for all hostee sites to be online again - and FTP details will be given to each modder/hostee once again when I get everything set up.

There are still some errors on this site, I am working diligently to resolve all of them as quickly as I can.

Thank you all for your patience!

Update
Almost every official hostee's site is now in place - all that remains is handing out FTP details for each account.

Another Update
Everything should be in place now, and everyone should have their FTP accounts back. If I've missed you please send me a message or reply to this news topic. Also, if you're a hostee please check your private messages here for your new connection details.

Hopefully this will be the last time for a while now. Unreliable servers and then the pain of moves gets annoying.

From the various things that I've poked around and looked at, it all seems to be working very nicely. A good job well done. :)

Oh, I just noticed, has your avatar intentionally disappeared? The reason I ask is that it appears to try and load whenever I refresh a thread that you have posted in, but then it doesn't load.

No, it seems to be working fine for me.

My avatar is a php script, I was originally going to put in a randomizer but for now if I ever change it, it changes on most forums I frequent automatically.

Right clicking on it tells me that it's looking for avatar.jpg in your directory.

I don't know what to say, it's working perfectly for me. Maybe your browsers don't support image redirection?

Try clicking this link, then hit "refresh" or "reload" -> http://sp.drdteam.org/avatar.jpg

Nope, I get a broken link message in ie, Ff, Opera and Chrome (none of which show your avatar in the forum view either):

DNS error - cannot find server

Could not locate remote server

etc

I see. That may well be a configuration issue with your ISP's DNS servers then.

You might try these DNS servers in your IP configuration:
4.2.2.3
4.2.2.4

I would recommend doing so only temporarily, but they have DRD team properly cached right now, and it should work.
