I surprised to see that this works in ZDoom. I didn't think 3D floors could work with horizon lines.

This was never meant to work and it's not easy to add. The horizon effect is a godawful hack in GL because there's no natural way to do it.

Dusk, etc.: Can't you make a "shelf" at map boundaries, and horizon-ify that?
