[not a BUG] The beginning staff you get with the mage class

Post by nwbeeman »

The staff you get with the mage class seems to go though everything until it hits a wall. You could have 10 enemys lined up in a hallway, shoot your staff, and it would hurt them all, is this the origial behaviour, or a bug?

You mean Bloodscourge, the super weapon? I think that's the intended behavior, because like the Cleric's Wraithverge, it's supposed to seek and go through enemies until the missile timers run out (or however it determines when to explode).

Naw, I mean the weapon (the crappy one (in slot 1) the first weapon you get that is in the mage class. It can shoot through a line of enemies.

It may be related to the fix Graf did to allow it to break a window when you are standing right in front of it, the bug i noticed and posted, and got fixed.

Damned E-Cockroaches from Hell. I blame the UAC. If they hadn't opened the portal to Hell then these cursed E-Cockroaches would have never invaded the net.

The mage wand's missile is indeed a ripper missile that goes through everything shootable. This is by design.
