[Fixed] Multiplayer crash, version-specific problem?

Post by undead003 »

Fixed in g2.1.pre-108-ga6f6450

As the game launches, g2.1.pre-105-g57895d6 crashes in multiplayer for no reason, but works fine in singleplayer. I can confirm this happens with a newly created configuration.

I don't think any file loaded is the problem (only client-side custom files were used). Me and my buddy switched to g2.1.pre-82-g5d032f3 without any other changes, and it worked.

Does it crash in ZDoom 708-gc9252d as well? Because if not, it'll likely be GZDoom missing this commit.

I can't check right now, but anyone else on a computer could. Download gc9252d1 and extract it, then go inside the extracted folder and hold Shift while right clicking anywhere in the folder, then click "Open command window here", and type "zdoom -host 2" (without quotations), then go back inside the folder and hold shift while right clicking again, and click "Open command window here", and type "zdoom -join (local IP address)" (without quotations). Speak of what happens.
