Graf - Are you going to make official dynamic lights?

Advanced OpenGL source port fork from ZDoom, picking up where ZDoomGL left off.

Graf - Are you going to make official dynamic lights?

As the topic states, i'm shure its low on your priority list, but are you going to ever add dynamic lights def as an "official" thing? (The definition file, not the feature, as it is allready added).

What's so bad about the lights being available? I won't add them to GZDoom.wad because I want the game to be playable without automatically assigned lights.

Good point, but i would perfer for an official version, so you wouldn't have to download and check the forums for changes to lights.wad. Perhaps you could put them in a seperate wad file, or default the new dynamic lights to off. Just figured you could do it "officially". That way, we would know that the lights would be updated because you are doing it. But I can see that you are allready a busy enough guy. (What do you do for work anyway?)
:P

Keep up the good work man. I just feel kinda bad that you will have to rewrite all your code when ZDoom 2.x comes out. Good work on the skyboxes, too, do you plan on putting them in the ZDOOM.WAD?

Well, honestly, I think that the ZDoomGL version for dynamic lights in default Doom light sources taht we use, is somehow "official", and there is not much to be improved in it.

True, except there are no light definitions for Strafe

I'm still working on Strife's dynamic lights, as part of my enhancement pack for the game.
