Hi-res not working normally
Hiya, been using GZDooM for a long, long time.. and I want to get my hi-res textures from the latest jDTP to work with it, my friend said \textures\doom2 and put everything there.. I tried that.. and nothing. So, I decided to make a .zip, create two folders, textures and flats.. put them in.. flats work, textures are blown up to their normal size, not their 128x64 size. Am I missing somthing here? The textures names (are for an example) ASHWALL1.png and flats are FLAT1.png. I ran into a problem when putting both textures and flats together, the flat STEP1 and texture STEP1 uses the same name. Is this a disabled feature or am I just completely missing somthing?

You should place your textures into "...\Textures\Doom". This should work. If the flats aren't "hi-resified", you shoul rename all flats.
Example:
Flat1.png = Flat-Flat1.Png
Floor5_2.png = Flat-Floor5_2.png
It works out for me and it SHOULD work for you, too, I hope. And DON'T put your textures into a .zip, just the textures alone as the normal .png format in "Textures\Doom".
Example:
Flat1.png = Flat-Flat1.Png
Floor5_2.png = Flat-Floor5_2.png
It works out for me and it SHOULD work for you, too, I hope. And DON'T put your textures into a .zip, just the textures alone as the normal .png format in "Textures\Doom".
