well, the model number deosn't matter, but each animation must have multiple frames, such as normal sprites.. for example, i have an imp model here and the walking animation of it has 20 frames, named 1 to 20..sykesccorp wrote:well i dont know much about how to get the amination into the file so is it possible having multible models each containing one amination say like one of them is stand and thats it just standing there?
sykesccorp wrote:what program do you use becasue it allways exports mine goodly
ChupaReaper wrote:I don't know of any good convert which can convert md5s to md2s directly but here's how I do it:
I import an md5mesh into Blender3D.
I then export it through Blender as a Wavefront OBJ.
I then use a really good program called Misfit Model 3D which I use to open the OBJ and save it as an md2.
I have to reanimte the model myself though using Misfit Model 3D.
sooo... here comes the business! Sykesccorp, can you start working on the zsecs? try do make a walking animation for it, then u send it for me on my e-mail, so I can reanimate it usaing DECORATE and put it in game ^^

How I typed English?Lioyd_Irving wrote:Wait a second...I thought GZDoom was featuring model interpolation...
Anyway, yes, GZDoom does have interpolation for model animations but linear interpolation looks like shit if you don't have enough frames in the animation, especially when it comes to rotation.

ok.......
any way i have now got the mancubus model but it has no death frame as i have ripped all the amination and the model so i have done nothing but ripping. the death of all monsters in doom3 have a burnning thing so are you going to try and replicate that of how are we going to be doing the death frames. also i have been doing some thinking the cinimatics and stuff how are you going to recreate that like the uy sitting on the chair and doing your pda.
thats what i have to say and yea good luck with the mapping

Gzdoom actually improves the quality of the textures for his open gl, if the mod doom3 weapons had been exclusive to gzdoom had been adapted graphic but is planned for zdoom (which only makes the software mod) and skulltag, the good news is that has many sprites each weapon ( machine gun have 35 sprites) that gives more impetus to the animation.
but i see this doom3 tc for gzdoom and look very nice! the monster 3d is very cool!!
my question is ....you can add the cyberdemon???
