[Went away (?)]Everything is... Blue?

I have no clue why, but stuff turns blue with GZDoom!

The only thing I can figure is that your video card might not like the lighting system, but that's probably just a poor assumption on my part (at least, without knowing what your system specs are).

As far as system specs go, what should I post?

Well, considering that the icons and the hand are ok it is a safe assumption that the graphics card itself is ok. So how can this happen? What exactly did you load?

OS, CPU, video card, screen resolution, that kind of thing.

Absolutely nothing, that's the messed up part about it. I don't have this problem with ZDoomGL either... It's all defaults.

Ah okay.... Lemme dig up all that....

System specifics....

OS: Windows XP Professional, SP 1

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz

Video Card: MOBILITY Radeon 7500C
--------------------------------------------------

Game Specifics:

Resolution: 800 x 600

Texture Filter Mode: Trilinear (more on that below...)

--------------------------------------------------

It seems if my texture filter mode is either set to none or linear, this problem doesn't happen... However on bilinear, trilinear, and none (Mipmapped) It pops up.

How up-to-date are your DirectX and video drivers?

Hmm, that looks like the automatic mipmap generation seems to be broken in your video driver. You shoud try updating it and look whether that helps.

My video drivers are up to date. I've never had this problem with any OpenGL games ever, so it puzzles me why i'd have a problem with my texture filtering here and not somewhere else like Unreal Tournament or ZdoomGL.

This is very odd.. The flats are ok, so why only patches are blue? I suspect some wad is in fact being loaded.. but it's just odd :o

This so far has been the best answer. It's the only one that makes sense. I do know some skin wads in fact cause problems like this so it could be one of those or just a wad getting moved into the skin folder without you knowing, like a resource wad of some kind. It's the only way that only PARTS of the level turn blue.

No, this looks like swapped palette indices. For some textures red and blue channels are exchanged.

I thought about that.
