As my limited knowledge of Deutsch goes:
drei = 3
deh = (phonetic) D
tset = (phonetic) Z
Doom = Doom!

Z is Zett - and yes, I got what you meant. It was somewhat strange nevertheless... ;)

Both sound really stupid to me, but every title for everything I've come up with in my life sounded stupid, so here goes.

GLoom (If you wanted to keep the ZDoom reference it could be zGLoom)
GLADE (GL Advanced Doom Engine) (Again, if you wanted to keep the ZDoom reference it could be zGLADE)

i love the name GLADE, maybe as this is a continuation of the ZDoom 96x code line (i assume), how about ZDoomGLx?

that would almost make it seem like a ZdoomGL comunity build though

or based off the ZDGL code in some form

THere are some parts from ZDoomGL in here but not much.

The only things I took from it are the sky rendering code, the clipper and parts of the dynamic light code although I did some heavy optimizations to that to make it faster.

I think GZDoom is fine. Graf's Zdoom is the best description of it, no? Whereas Graf Zhal Doom might sound a bit pretensious IMO.

Heh, when I start it up I get "ZGL: This won't take effect until ZDoomGL is restarted" in the console :P

That's from a file Timmie gave me. I haven't changed any messages in it. ;)
